Loreal Skin Perfection 15 Second Miracle Cleansing Oil

This miracle oil is suited to all skin types and is designed to be used morning and evening to reveal a better skin texture for healthy looking skin.  Loreal have recently been launching a lot of products under their Skin Perfection range.  I already own their products from the range designed to suit dry skin which you can read about here, it also includes a review of their Michellar Water.  As I have previously said in that post, I love these products, so I was really excited when I came across this cleansing oil.
Because I have quite dry skin, I find that most cleansers strip the natural oils from my face and leave my skin feel very used and abused!  I thought that a cleansing oil would be perfect for me.  I was quite surprised that it is targeted at all skin types, but it does say on the back that this cleanser helps to re-balance your skin's natural oil production, which helps to restore optimum levels of hydration.  I don't think this product would be unsuitable for individuals with oily skin, as even the oiliest skin types are recommended to moisturise daily still.

To use the 15 second miracle cleansing, you apply 2-3 drops of it on to dry skin (apply to hands and rubs together then give your face a good massage).  It feels ever so silky and glides over the skin, but once you get massaging, I find it can drag on the skin a little.  If I'm wearing a lot of makeup then I tend to use around 4 or 5 drops, just because I like to have enough to glide over my eyelids and eyelashes without feeling them tug.  Now, since it is called the "15 second" Mircacle oil, I try to massage it over my skin for 15 seconds or more, allowing it time to dissolve all my makeup properly.  And then you just rinse it off!  Sometimes if I'm tired and splashing my face with water seems like the last thing I want to do before bed, I just use a couple of damp cotton pads and it removes the product fine.
I was actually really surprised by this product.  It honestly removed all traces of my makeup, and when I did my second cleanse (I always double cleanse to make sure I've removed every last trace of makeup) the cotton pads were completely clean.  There was nothing left on my skin!  So now, instead of double cleansing with this, all I do is rub this over my face for 15 seconds, rinse and then follow up with Loreal's Skin Perfection Michellar Water as that acts as a cleanser AND a toner and I'm done.

I have been using this for nearly a month now, and I have definitely noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin,  It definitely feels softer, smoother and I haven't had any break outs.  I will definitely be purchasing this again!

This little beauty retails at around £7.99, but I've seen it on offer everywhere at the moment for either half price or as a part of a deal with the rest of the range.  So grab yourself a bargain while you can, you won't regret it!

    1. It is a really nice product and I think it would still be okay for your combination skin. It literally just dissolves all makeup. I tend to wipe mine off with damp cotton pads, but if you have combination skin then I would recommend following the usage guide and rinse off with water, because when I rinse it off there is genuinely no trace of it left on my skin, no residue or anything. For this reason I don't think it would make you break out. Give it a go next time it's on offer, and just try it out every other day or something until you know how your skin reacts with it! Good luck! I'd love to hear how you get on with it if you do try it! x

  4. So many oils that I've used have left a gross residue on my face afterwards that remains even when I splash my face with water - I'll have to give this a try!! xx

    1. The only other face oils I have used before have required me to wash them off with either a special soap or just a standard facewash, but this one is really is different. I still apply my moisturizer after I use it because it doesn't necessarily make my skin feel more moisturized after using it. I am now following you on Bloglovin' :) xx
